Take your Metromic Forte out of the refrigerator. The vaginal suppository should be inserted high into the vagina, every night for 7 days. Your body temperature will melt the suppository, so it should be inserted while you're lying down to prevent leakage. Do not stand up for half an hour after administering Metromic Forte.

This suppository is only for intravaginal use, please do not swallow Metromic Forte or apply by any other routes.

Typically, Metromic Forte is used for 7 days. In recurrent cases though, a 14 day course is recommended.

Do not take a double-dose to compensate for the one you missed. Simply continue from where you left off.

Please store your suppositories in the refrigerator (not the freezer). It's okay if your Metromic Forte arrives at your door melted, just stick it in the fridge and the suppositories will be good as new!

Do not drink alcohol during your therapy and for 3 days after the end of treatment because of possible unpleasant reactions.

• Vaginal irritation
• Dizziness
• Headache
• Vaginal discharge
• Pelvic discomfort

Generally, if these symptoms appear, they are greatly reduced as treatment continues.
