Take doxycycline on a full stomach, twice a day for two weeks.

Do not take doxycycline if you:
- are allergic to doxycycline or any tetracycline antibiotic, such as demeclocycline, minocycline, tetracycline, or tigecycline.
Are pregnant or breastfeeding

Tell your doctor if you:
- have ever had liver disease, kidney disease, asthma or sulfite allergy, or increased pressure inside your skull.
- take isotretinoin, seizure medicine, or a blood thinner such as warfarin (Coumadin).

Doxycycline can make birth control pills less effective. While taking doxycycline, please use an additional method of contraception, such as condoms.
